Suzuki Press Release: The Saltzburgring circuit in Austria played host to the European launch of Suzuki’s all-new GSX1300R Hayabusa today, with UK press the first to experience the 194 BHP missile. Following its public unveiling in Rome earlier this year, the Saltzburgring circuit was chosen as the location for the first press tests, due to its unusual high-speed nature, being perfect for trying Suzuki’s most powerful production machine. With a full day of testing today, press were first treated to a technical presentation from Suzuki’s European Technical Director - Hiroyuki Nakai and European Styling Designer - Koji Yoshiura, who explained the development process behind the new Hayabusa. By 11.30AM the first UK group had returned from their first test session, with smiling faces and tales of impressive speeds…
