From the hills of Snowdonia to a banquet at Ruthin Castle!
8 Triumphs, led by Triumph Franchise Manager Earl Richmond, left Bridge on Friday 18th April for this year's RAT (Riders Association of Triumph) "Welsh Dragon Raid".
Earl says, "We left Bridge on Friday morning and had a beautiful ride up through the valleys and mountains of mid-Wales. It was cold but clear. We arrived at Ruthin Castle that night for reception drinks and a meal. Saturday, we had a fantastic ride through Snowdonia and the whole coast of the Isle of Anglesey. It was pretty cloudy but luckily rain free. Half-way through the day we stopped for a packed lunch provided by the organisers, before setting off for the afternoon ride back through the National park. The medieval banquet on Saturday night was fabulous. We were told the history of the castle and treated to some fine Welsh singing voices. Unfortunately, Sunday we had rain but it was still an enjoyable ride home. These RAT weekends always provide great company and I would recommend any rider to try one.."
