Some bikes need little introduction, and Ducati’s Panigale V4 is one such machine. Introduced last year to a very welcoming reception, the bike is the Italian marque’s first venture away from the v-twin configuration they’re traditionally known for with its mass-produced motorcycles.
The figures for the machine are simply staggering too; it produces an almighty 214bhp at the crank, and tips the scales at just 195kg wet, Ducati really meant business when designing this motorcycle.
As you’d expect, it comes laden with the latest tech too, from the radially-mounted Brembo M50 monobloc calipers, quickshifter that works for both up and down shifting, to the 42mm Showa Big Piston forks and Sachs rear suspension, it’s got everything a rider could need to go quick, and stop quicker.
Helping to keep everything working together in harmony, and to keep that almighty power in check is a sophisticated electronics package that allows the rider to better exploit this bike’s potential. The Bosch cornering ABS helps to keep the rider in control, while the EVO traction control unit works seamlessly with the Bosch Inertial Measurement unit (IMU) to cleverly keep track of the lean angle and apply traction control where necessary. Of course, the settings for both the ABS and traction control can be tinkered with too, with different riding modes to perfectly suit the rider and road conditions.
This pre-owned example has come into our showroom with just 2622 miles on the clock and is presented in stunning condition. It also benefits from having an R&G rear tail tidy fitted too, keeping the back end looking tidy.
This really is an exceptionally beautiful motorcycle and has to be seen to be believed, offering a fantastic saving over the cost of a new model.
