Back in 2015, Honda released an extremely limited edition, BSB-liveried CBR1000RR Fireblade. With a batch of just 50 machines available, the bike featured upgrades over the standard bike, as well as coming with a stunning factory paint job.
And, we’ve just taken this one into our used bike stock.
Representing the colourways of the machines that were raced by Jenny Tinmouth, Dan Lindfoot and Jason O’Halloran in the British Superbike Championship, this bike comes loaded with sensible extras that really help it out from the crowd, because, you know, it didn’t enough already.
For starters, there’s the beautiful carbon Akrapovic Exhaust providing a fantastic soundtrack to the 999cc inline-four cylinder engine.
When you find yourself charging at corners like a mad dog chasing a bone, then you need reliable stoppers so you don’t end up in the kitty-litter. And, improving on the already-impressive four-pot Tokico brakes, this bike also comes with upgraded and colour-matched red Hel braided brake lines.
The extras don’t end there though. This bike has also seems to have had half of the R&G catalogue thrown at it too. A radiator and exhaust header guard protect the engine bay from rogue stones which could cause costly damage, a set of paddock bobbins make basic chain maintenance a cinch, and a set of fork and bar-end protectors provide a little more peace of mind, should that corner approach a lot quicker than anticipated. Stylistic additions to the already-beautiful paint scheme come in the form of an R&G tank pad and a tail tidy too.
This really is a stunning example, hardly befitting of the 9,595 miles it’s covered, given the condition it’s presented in. It’s immaculate, and with only one previous owner, has been meticulously cared for, with a full service history, carried out and supplied new by us here at Bridge.
