This route is great for touring bikes as it covers stunning moorland views. Heading out from Cafe 53 ride towards the A30 roundabout and take second exit towards Ide / Dunsford. Just before you reach Dunsford you will join the B3212 and will stay on this road until you reach Yelverton. Just before you get to Yelverton you will reach the Warren House Inn, this makes ideal stopping point before you head back on the same road towards Exeter.
Like any route heading over Devon's moors, riders need to be on the lookout for livestock, which roam freely around the roadsides. Road surfaces are generally fine, however there can be grave on some bends - so remain vigilant if you are unfamiliar with the route.
