We are a multi franchise dealership looking to recruit an experienced Motorcycle Technician to work in our busy service and repair workshop.

The successful candidate will have experience of modern motorcycles and be able to use current diagnostic equipment as well as all aspect of servicing and repairs.

 

Job Specification
 

Servicing, repairs and maintenance work to a variety of manufactures motorcycles in accordance with our high standards and manufacture’s specifications.

Complete new bike pre-delivery inspections, used bike preparation, fitting performance and touring kits and aftermarket accessories.

Maintain a high level of competence for the work undertaken by undergoing on-site training and attending manufacturer’s courses when required.

Working to tight deadlines without losing quality or safety standards.

Excellent attention to detail and a full motorcycle licence is a must.

Maintain the Company image of professionalism and quality of service when dealing with customers.

 

Person Specification

  • The ideal candidate will be a team player, strong communicator, and have a positive can-do attitude.
  • Fully qualified to an NVQ level 3, have completed a manufacture training programme or have the equivalent through hands on work experience.
  • You will commit to continued training and development – attending manufactures training courses regularly.
  • It is essential that you have a valid motorcycle licence which is free from excessive infringements and offences.
  • You will have a minimum of three years recent experience in a similar role.
  • Have excellent productivity and efficiency levels.

 

Salary and Hours of Work

£30,000 to £36,000 depending on qualifications and experience

40 hours over 5 days including alternate Saturdays
