This is a lovely route that shows off the very best roads that Devon has to offer, from the twist and turns of Dartmoor to the flowing road between Exeter and Dawlish. This is a great route for the bank holiday weekend. Rest stops are always important on a ride and we would recommend the full cooked breakfast at Café 53 and the Fish & Chips at Paignton Pier.
This route starts at Bridge Motorcycles in Exeter. From Bridge head West along the B312 towards Moretonhampstead, this part of the route is the most twisty and technical section of the route, so take care. Once you get into Moretonhampstead, at the cross roads turn left, watch out for traffic as this junction is slightly blind. Stay on the A382 till you get to Newton Abbot and then follow signs for Paignton. Once at Paignton Sea Front you want to follow signs for Torquay, this will join you onto the A379. The A379 is a great road and will take you all the way back to Exeter.
