This is a great days ridding, taking in 3 areas of outstanding natural beauty (Dartmoor, Exmoor and East Devon Area of Outstanding Beauty). This ride will show the best of Devon from the northern coast road to the twisty roads by Eaglescott Airfield.
On this route there are multiple great places to stop from Café 53 in Exeter to multiple cafes in Porlock or Lynton. Coming into the Autumn and Winter months the roads from Moreton House to Lynton are frequented by agricultural vehicles thus some section of the roads maybe covered in mud and other slippery objects.
Wanting to make this route shorter, for whatever reason (probably the great British weather!) the route has multiple major roads crossing (M5, A361, A30 and A377) it that can cut corners off and save a little time.
